Max Cook

Max Cook is an Associate Attorney in the Orlando office of Howell, Buchan & Strong. He first joined the firm as a law clerk in 2023 and now supports clients in civil litigation and administrative law, with a special focus on protecting the licenses of healthcare professionals. Max brings a strong commitment to service, shaped by his family’s tradition of public service and his passion for standing with hardworking professionals whose livelihoods are at risk.

Max earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was an active member of the Student Health Law Association and the Mississippi Conservation Society. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from Mississippi State University, where he was named to the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2025. Originally from Mississippi, Max is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing, and he now calls Orlando home.
