A Litigation Career Built on Both Sides
A rare dual perspective shapes Jami’s approach. She spent the first decade of her career representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability cases. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of how claims are developed, evaluated, and presented.
She later transitioned to defense work, where she now applies that insight to anticipate opposing strategies, assess exposure, and develop more effective case strategies.
“Having worked on both sides, I understand how each side evaluates a case,” Jami explains. “That allows me to see the full picture and prepare for what is coming next.”
This ability to think ahead is central to Jami’s litigation style. She is known for quickly synthesizing complex facts, identifying the most critical issues, and positioning cases early for stronger outcomes. Her work often involves matters with significant medical components, where she collaborates with medical experts to fully evaluate claims and develop effective strategies.
Jami has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, courtroom advocacy, and appeals. She is particularly recognized for her preparation and effectiveness in cross-examination, as well as her ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to clients.

Her clients value her ability to balance big-picture strategy with attention to detail. She approaches each matter with an objective, analytical mindset, while also thinking creatively about how to position a case for the best possible outcome.
“Litigation is competitive,” Jami says. “But it is also about preparation and perspective. When you understand the case from every angle, you can advocate more effectively and achieve better results.”
