What’s Next: Upcoming Capital Medical Society Presentation
August 4, 2026 | By Crystal SanfordAs I mentioned in my last blog, we are continuing our relationship with leadership and members of the Capital Medical Society (CMS) in Tallahassee, Florida, where our headquarters is located. We are enjoying time spent meeting members of CMS and providing helpful information to those in attendance at continuing medical education (CME) dinner meetings.
Next Meeting
The next CMS meeting is scheduled for August 11, 2026, in Tallahassee, and the presentation is Updates in Colorectal Cancer and the Role of Minimally Invasive Surgery. The presenter is Jarrod Robertson, M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Robertson is the Division Chief of Surgical Oncology and Assistant Professor with the Florida State University College of Medicine. He is also a TMGPP Surgical Specialist. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and will be held at the beautiful Maguire Center for Lifelong Learning at Westminster Oaks.
What Will We Be Talking About?
I promised you in the last blog for the title of John Wilson’s presentation for this meeting. This time John will be talking about Problems with Employment in Healthcare. Doesn’t that sound like a fun time? Well, maybe not, but it is a necessary discussion in today’s health care environment.
How to Reserve Your Seat
Be sure to mark your calendars and reserve your seat with CMS today, because it is the deadline. Go to the CMS webpage, https://capmed.org/events/ for more information and to reserve your seat for the presentation and dinner. We look forward to seeing your there!
