Howell, Buchan, & Strong has been an affiliated member of FALA for nine (9) years. This year was our 8th invitation to sponsor their 2026 Conference and Trade Show. It was held August 2-5, 2026 in Orlando and the theme was Passport to Possibilities: Senior Living With Purpose.
Who is FALA?
FALA strives to help assisted living facilities and group home professionals explore new ideas and innovations that can have positive effects for our elderly population. This is important because according to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, in their 2025 Department Overview, Florida has the 3rd leading population in the nation with the 2nd leading population in the nation of people over the age of 60. And Florida has a growing population of folks living over 100 years of age![1] Florida has to have organizations and professionals that are prepared to support Florida’s future influx of elderly people.
What You Missed
Rickey Strong has been sponsoring the FALA meetings for Howell, Buchan, & Strong and is always looking forward to attending. He and his staff, Helen and Sandro from our Orlando Office, set up a booth at the conference and trade show.
