Howell, Buchan & Strong Welcomes Associate Attorney Max Cook to the Orlando Office

Howell, Buchan & Strong is proud to announce the addition of Max Cook as an Associate Attorney in our Orlando office. Max first joined the firm in 2023 as a law clerk and quickly distinguished himself through his dedication, strong research skills, and commitment to serving clients.

He will focus his practice on civil litigation and administrative law, with a particular passion for defending professional and healthcare licenses.

Max earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2025, where he held leadership roles in the Student Health Law Association and the Mississippi Conservation Society. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from Mississippi State University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2025.

A Mississippi native, Max comes from a family of public servants who instilled in him the value of hard work and service to others. Now based in Orlando, he brings both his legal skills and his outdoorsman spirit to the team.
