Licensing Applications and Denials

There are certain requirements you must meet in order to attain your license as a professional engineer. In some instances, your license application may be denied. We can help you with your application and with application issues you encounter.

Licensing Renewals

To maintain your professional engineer’s license, all licensees must comply with post-licensing or continuing education requirements and pay the necessary renewal fees. These educational requirements also apply to those licensees with a suspended license. Don’t go through the process alone, we can help you save time and guide you through unknown hurdles that may arise, which can only delay you getting licensed.

Complaints

If you receive an Administrative Complaint from the Board of Professional Engineers, should you go it alone and speak with the investigator? Should you ignore the complaint? Complaints from clients? Should you speak with the Board of Professional Engineers’ attorney? You should never risk your license by responding without legal counsel.

Administrative Complaints:

Should you speak to the Board of Professional Engineers’ attorney after receiving an administrative complaint against your license?

Should you accept the first settlement offer?

Should you go it alone at the final action hearing?

Our firm can help you through questions like this and the administrative complaint process. We will assist you with responding to the administrative complaint, appear on your behalf for trial at the Division of Administrative Hearings to the final action meeting in front of the Board of Professional Engineers.

Your license is too important to take chances alone and risk disciplinary action, denial of a license, or loss of a license. Howell, Buchan & Strong, Attorneys at Law can help you.
